2019 Kennewick School District Bond Program

The 2019 estimated $125 million Bond includes one new elementary school; one new-in-lieu
elementary school; one new-in-lieu high school; one remodeled elementary school and new additions
to two high schools. The Kennewick High School 250,000 sq. ft. project is in the design development
phase with a joint architect venture. The work includes deliverables for the August 2018 kick-off
Bond campaign. Amistad is under construction with a K-3 Grant and phase II has been designed and
approved for the Bond. The two high school additions are finished with schematic design and are
working on design development for the same August deliverable. The deliverables include all Bond
graphics, floor plans and cost estimates. The team is working to ensure that all Bond deliverables are
included and on time.

2016 Columbia School District Bond Program

  • Elementary School gymnasium building, new
  • Elementary School staff restroom renovations, remodel
  • Addition of (2ea) Elementary School classrooms, new
  • Elementary School playground improvements, remodel

The 2016 $4.5 million Bond included the capital projects listed above. The Alliance scope of work
includes establishing an overall project schedule and budget, hiring the design team, overseeing the
design process/deliverables, hiring the general contractor, and overseeing the construction process.

2016 Umatilla School District Bond Program

  • McNary Heights Elementary School safety and security upgrades, remodel
  • McNary Heights Elementary School kitchen renovation and upgrades, remodel
  • McNary Heights Elementary School new gymnasium, new building
  • Clara Brownell Middle School major renovation including new mechanical and DDC systems, new
    electrical, new windows, new interior finishes, and safety and security improvements
  • Umatilla High School safety and security upgrades, remodel
  • Umatilla High School new DDC systems, remodel

The 2016 $9.5 million Bond included one new building; upgrades to safety and security for three
schools; and remodels of five schools. The Alliance scope of work includes hiring the design team,
overseeing the design process and deliverables. Hiring the general contractor and providing quality
assurance. Fully representing the District as the Owner’s Representative and Construction Manager.

2015 Kennewick School District Bond Program

  • Eastgate Elementary, new-in-lieu
  • Sage Crest Elementary, new school
  • Desert Hills Middle School, new-in-lieu
  • Chinook Middle School, new school
  • Westgate Elementary, new-in-lieu
  • Amon Creek Elementary, new school

The 2015 $89.5 million Bond included 3 new elementary schools and 3 new-in-lieu elementary
schools. Program scope included but was not limited to the following: budget development, debt
service review, state assistance documentation, project building assessment, community inclusion,
architect and consultant advertisement and hiring, educational specification development, School
Board approval, D-Form processing, construction bidding, contract review, contractor oversight and
complete project close-out, several land purchases and land swaps with community developers.
Coordination with the cities having jurisdiction and new community infrastructure needs were
addressed and delivered by the team.

2009 Kennewick School District Bond Program

The 2009 $68 million Bond included one new elementary school and 6 elementary school remodel
projects. Program scope included but was not limited to the following: budget development, debt
service review, state assistance documentation, project building assessment, community inclusion,
architect and consultant advertisement and hiring, educational specification development, School
Board approval, D-Form processing, construction bidding, contract review, contractor oversight and
complete project close-out.
